XMen: New Trailer – Is Ratner’s name still mud?

I was nerding out the other day watching Attack of the Show, when they played an extended trailer for Xmen3. Now, as most of you nerds know (because we communicate telepathically) Brian Singer left some pretty big shoes for Brett Ratner (Rush Hour 2) to fill and most of us (nerds) didn’t hold out much hope for shoe fillage.. well.. not counting the return of Famke Janssen!

Anyway, the new trailers seem to be causing something of a stir in the anti-ratner stands, as, to be honest, they actually seem pretty good.

Point is, there’s finally a online version of the trailer I caught the other day (although, this is the UK version… same, same). But before I post the link I’m going to add a quote from the movie synopsis, just because I haven’t used a blockquote tag in a while:

In X-MEN: THE LAST STAND, the climax of the “X-Men” motion picture trilogy, a “cure” for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier, who preaches tolerance, and Magneto, who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test – triggering the war to end all wars.

And now, here’s that link what I promised: shiggidy!

I’m rather looking foward to seeing it – and I’m hoping it will be good, but I don’t expect it to be.

But worse directors have suprised me….

Not that I’m saying Ratner is a bad director – I’m just am not a fan of his movies.
